We caught up with the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, Rotary International, Hope for Haiti, and Yoga Alliance to learn more about their important missions and programs, as well as recent challenges they’ve overcome. Between them, these organizations do amazing work battling disease, empowering communities, alleviating poverty, and supporting health and well-being.

Nonprofit heroes making an impact
To celebrate the nonprofit community, we’re featuring those heroes who don’t wear capes.
For our first edition of Nonprofit Heroes, we partnered with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to share the stories of three Somali women doing incredible work in their refugee camp in Ethiopia. Having overcome immense hardship, these women are working tirelessly to raise awareness about the safety and rights of women and girls in their community.
