Every month, we’re spotlighting great nonprofits making a difference all around the world.
We caught up with the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, Rotary International, Hope for Haiti, and Yoga Alliance to learn more about their important missions and programs, as well as recent challenges they’ve overcome. Between them, these organizations do amazing work battling disease, empowering communities, alleviating poverty, and supporting health and well-being.

Nonprofit heroes making an impact
To celebrate the nonprofit community, we’re featuring those heroes who don’t wear capes.
For our first edition of Nonprofit Heroes, we partnered with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to share the stories of three Somali women doing incredible work in their refugee camp in Ethiopia. Having overcome immense hardship, these women are working tirelessly to raise awareness about the safety and rights of women and girls in their community.

We caught up with the Center for Creative Leadership, Be The Match, Strada Education Network, and Sesame Workshop to learn more about their important missions and programs, as well as recent challenges they’ve overcome. Between them, these organizations do amazing work supporting learners of all ages, providing leadership development opportunities, and saving and improving lives.

We caught up with Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, SourceAmerica, Positive Coaching Alliance, and Kesem to learn about their missions, programs, and vision. Collectively, these organizations provide life-changing support to children, families, and those living with disabilities, with their impact being felt throughout communities.

We caught up with Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, Colorado Public Radio, and SF LGBT Center to find out more about the incredible work they’re doing—from funding disease research and supporting the LGBT community to providing long-term solutions to homelessness and promoting news, music, and culture.

We caught up with Re:Work Training, The Nature Conservancy, United Way, and the National Organization for Rare Disorders to learn more about their inspiring missions and programs. Between them, they’re doing great work to diversify tech, protect our beautiful world, and support communities in need.
